Read.me for IconCal.exe

This is a WPS program that wraps around a REXX script (converted to C) that was
written by Frank Wochatz <mail@subsys.de>.

IconCal.exe creates and displays an icon for the selected day, month and year.
At startup the current date is displayed and is update as the date changes.
Using the icon calendar dialog, other months and years can be displayed.

Installation:

Unzip the contents of iconcal.zip into a directory of your choice, preferably
empty. Run the script 'setup.cmd' which creates a program object on the desktop

Usage:

Start the program and press one of the day radiobutton to select the week start
day for the calendar. If desired, minimize the dialog to the 'Minimized Window
Viewer' folder

When displaying the date, there are two modes of operation:

1. 'Today' In this mode the current date is displayed and is continually
updated if the date changes. This is the default mode when starting and is
restored when the 'Today' button is pressed.

2. 'Static' In this mode the date is set by pressing one of the 'Next ...',
'Prev ...' or 'Update Icon' buttons, and is not updated. 'Next Month[Year]'
displays the next Month[Year] after the one currently being displayed, wrapping
years, if necessary. 'Prev Month[Year]' displays the Month[Year] before the
one currently being displayed. 'Update Icon' set the date to the values in the
spin boxes. To exit this mode press the 'Today' button

Known issues:

1. Occasionally, the starting week number for the displayed month is off by
one. Some workarounds are in place, but complete resolution is pending.

2. The icon title will display the correct titles for dutch, english, french,
and german. However, the dialog strings are currently english only. This is
easy to fix if someone is willing to send me the translation.
